The Hi-Desert Nature Museum in Yucca Valley has extended its hours. It is now open an extra day, Wednesdays, from 10 to 5. In addition to its extended hours, the museum has added a museum assistant, Charlie Rossow. Rossow has a bachelor’s degree in history and has worked as a library assistant in special collections for the Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles.
