The Hi-Desert Medical Center Auxiliary Board President Shirley Lundquist presented a check for $5,000 to the Morongo Basin Healthcare District to assist in purchasing a new vehicle for their Transportation LIFT program. LIFT Transportation Services provide free, non-emergency, wheelchair-accessible transportation to medical appointments for residents of the Morongo Basin.
