High Desert Homegrown Poultry Association will hold a quarterly meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, at the Yucca Mesa Community Center, 3133 Balsa Avenue on the Mesa in Yucca Valley. There will be a Power Point presentation on steps involved in raising day-old baby chicks. They will also plan a group order of chicks from McMurray Hatchery to arrive sometime in late February or early March. Come learn to raise baby chicks and bring the kids. Everyone is welcome.
