The doctors at the Hi-Desert Family Health Clinics in cooperation with Joshua Tree National Park will be writing important prescriptions for health. Reporter Kirby Davis said they will recommend patients “Take a Hike”…
The Hi-Desert Family Health Clinics are partnering with Joshua Tree National Park to get the clinics’ patients hiking for health. Medical providers can write a prescription for the patients to “take a hike” in Joshua Tree National Park. The prescription is good for 90 days and provides free entry to the park for the patients and up to five guests in the vehicle. The healthcare district said the goal is to inspire individuals to improve their health by using the national park for therapeutic healing.
