The High Desert Chorus has announced that Bill Barrett will return as musical director this season. Barrett is the long-time director of music at Yucca Valley High School and has worked with the High Desert Chorus in the past. Clyde Grabski will return as accompanist. Rehearsals begin September 12 at 6 p.m. at Valley Community Chapel in Yucca Valley. The Chorus is looking for new members to join and veteran members to return. Their next performances will be on December 10 and 11. Singers must have prior choir experience and be able to read music.
