In Yucca Valley, the Hi-Desert Water District meets at 5 p.m. tonight while the Joshua Basin Water District, which serves Joshua Tree, meets at 5:30 p.m. Here’s reporter Mike Lipsitz to tell us what’s on tonight’s agendas…
Hi-Desert Water District’s meeting will include consideration of contract revisions with the human resources consultant, changing the regular board meeting from 5 to 4 p.m., the first and third Wednesday of every month, and a proposal to change the design-build approach for phases two and three at the wastewater treatment plant. At Joshua Basin Water District, General Manager Mark Ban will lead an informational presentation on pot growers in the district. The public is invited to observe or participate in both meetings by phone or on the Zoom platform.
