The Hi-Desert Water District will hold its regular board meeting at 5 p.m. this evening in Yucca Valley. And in Joshua Tree the Joshua Basin Water District convenes for the regular virtual board meeting at 6:30 p.m. Here’s reporter Mike Lipsitz with the Wednesday water roundup…
The Hi-Desert Water District’s virtual meeting looks to be relatively brief with a vote on routine consent items followed by a closed session on anticipated litigation with former employee Jennifer Poland. Then down the highway at the Joshua Basin Water District’s 6:30 p.m. meeting, directors are expected to approve two new members of the district’s Citizen Advisory Council, adopt a formal budget policy, and consider changing the regular meeting time from 6:30 to 5:30 p.m.
The public is invited to observe or participate in both meetings by phone or on the Zoom platform.
