The producers of the Hi-DeF Fringe Festival have made the decision to live-stream their entire Fringe Fest this year. With all the details, including how to apply, here’s Reporter Rebecca Havely…
Hi-DeF is going hightTech for 2020 with a live streaming Fringe Festival. The fest will take place on Saturday June 13, live on both Facebook and Twitch with a host to intro each unique act. Tickets will be pay-what-you-can contributions accepted via Venmo. The production company will be sharing the proceeds with the Fringe Fest performers. Send your application to perform now through April 15 to hidesertfringe.org.
There’s a $25 application fee, but it is waived for returning performers and there will be no production fees this year. Acts must be original this year and any music used must be royalty free. Solo shows are preferred, and performers must have access to reliable internet and a web camera.
