A Hesperia man was arrested in Twentynine Palms over the weekend, accused of felony vandalism. On Sunday (December 26), deputies responded to the 6700 block of Adobe Road just after 1 a.m. for a report of a domestic disturbance. According to Sheriff logs, the victim’s mother had left town and told the victim not to let the mother’s boyfriend into the house. The boyfriend, later identified as Donovan Anderson, 29, reportedly broke the sliding glass door entering the property. After investigation, deputies say Anderson arrived at his girlfriend’s residence and kicked the sliding glass door causing it to break, and allegedly admitted to breaking the door because he was mad that he could not enter the residence. Deputies arrested Donovan Anderson for investigation of felony vandalism and booked him into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $25,000.
