The Humanitarian Emergency Lifeline Project has announced that there will be no food giveaway on Wednesday, December 22 and that they are undergoing a reevaluation of their Feeding Neighbors program. During this time they will be pausing food distribution operations. The program asks for your patience as they evaluate the program for the future. In the meantime, they have provided information regarding other food distributions and wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season.

One of the next local distributions will be at the Community Food Pantry at Lutheran Church of the Desert, 6336 Hallee Rd. in Joshua Tree. The distribution will be open this Wednesday (December 22) from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and anyone in need of food is welcome.
