HEAVY RAINS CAUSE ROAD CLOSURES IN JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK

Due to heavy rain activity on Saturday, February 2, Joshua Tree National Park officials have closed all dirt roads in the park.  The Cottonwood south entrance, off of I-10 is open but is reduced to one lane in certain areas.  Oversize vehicles and RVs are recommended to use an alternate route to enter the park.  The Keys Ranch Tour has been cancelled for Sunday, February 3, 2019. The park reminds visitors not to drive off-road at any time.  Avoid driving through running water and slow down and exercise caution when driving in wet conditions.
