HEAR ABOUT THE PIONEERING CARSON FAMILY THIS FRIDAY IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

The Second Friday Lecture Series continues Friday, November 8, at the Old Schoolhouse Museum. Reporter Laura Berry shares the details…  

Listen to the inspiring story of Viola and Paul Carson, two early residents of Twentynine Palms who touched many lives with their tenacious spirit and giving nature. Sponsored by the Desert Institute at Joshua Tree National Park and the Twentynine Palms Historical Society, this lecture will be given by Thurman Carson and Randy Rogers at the Old Schoolhouse Museum in Twentynine Palms, on Friday, November 8, at 7 p.m. The entry fee is 5 dollars per person at the door. There will be a dinner with the speakers at 5 p.m. at the 29 Palms Inn.  Reservations must be made by Tuesday, November 5 and attendees are responsible for their own meal.
