The “Healthy over Hungry” Cereal Drive is returning to Desert Care Network hospitals in the Coachella Valley and Morongo Basin beginning today, June 7, and will run through Monday, June 14. The program provides area children and adults struggling with hunger with a healthy breakfast during the summer. Morongo Basin residents who wish to make donations of healthy cereal can bring their donations to the main lobby of Hi-Desert Medical Center, 6601 White Feather Rd. in Joshua Tree. Donations will be provided to The Way Station in Joshua Tree.
