The board was ask to approve the purchase of the La Contenta Business Center where the current District administrative offices are located for $2,500,000. The business center would provide indoor storage for the Mobile Medical Unit and additional space for finance, billing, IT and a classroom for education. The annual $2 million lease payment from HDMC Holdings and an additional $500,000 requested from investment would be used to purchase the property. The Board approved with Paul Hoffman abstaining. The night continued with the audited financial report for the fiscal year 2018; it showed an audit without deficiencies and 651 days cash on hand. Director Paul Hoffman was also honored with a proclamation for his service to the community.
