The Healthcare District Board of Directors intends to fill the vacancy at a special meeting on January 20, 2022, 6:00 p.m. at District offices (located at 6530 La Contenta Road, Yucca Valley CA 92284). Those interested in serving on the Morongo Basin Healthcare District Board of Directors should submit a Letter of Interest and Qualification:
▪ Completed letters may be submitted electronically to [email protected], or
▪ May be submitted by mail or delivery to District offices at 6530 La Contenta Road, suite #200,
Yucca Valley CA 92284, attention Karen Graley, Board Clerk.
Applicants must be registered voters residing within the boundaries of the healthcare District (a
boundary map may be viewed on the District website), and be prepared to serve as a director until the current term of office expires December 31, 2022.
Applicants must file a Fair Political Practices Act Disclosure Statement in accordance with the provisions of that Act and the implementing regulation of the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC.CA.GOV). The Disclosure Statement must be filed at the District office with the Letter of Interest and Qualifications. The Letter of Interest and Qualifications shall include:
▪ Contact information (phone and email)
▪ Confirm in writing that you are registered to vote in San Bernardino County
▪ List primary residence address within the healthcare District’s boundaries (boundary map available on website)
▪ Past experience as a community board or committee member and contact information to
verify service
▪ Three personal references
▪ Fair Political Practices Act Disclosure Statement (Form 700)
