Last night’s meeting began with the action items regarding capital expenditures and the policy regarding authorization levels, tabled for further review and discussion. Hi-Desert Medical Center CEO Karen Faulis’ presentation on quality of service showed that there was zero hospital acquired infections for the year to date. The action item regarding the Co- Application agreement between the MBHD Board and the Community Health Center Governing Board was unanimously approved. And Controller Debbie Anderson reported that for the year to date through May, the net income for the District and Clinics combined was 29% under budget for a dollar amount of $612,729.
