The board of directors for the Morongo Basin Healthcare District and the Community Health Center will hold two special meetings tonight (Monday, May 24) and Tuesday, May 25. The sole item on the agenda for each night is a presentation by a candidate for the district’s chief executive officer. The candidates’ names were not provided in the agenda and the district did not respond to a request for the names. The meetings start at 7 p.m. in district offices at 6530 La Contenta Road, Suite 700 in Yucca Valley. The public is invited to attend.
