The Morongo Basin Healthcare District board of directors met last night. Discussions ran from harassment policies, yearly audits, to health conferences. Reporter Eric Knabe has the highlights…
Last night’s meeting of the Morongo Basin Healthcare District began with workplace policies. Director Marge Doyle asked that the policy, which dealt
with harassment, be pulled for discussion. During the discussion Doyle asked if the revised policy is compliance with current federal, state and local standards? The answer was yes. Then other fine points were brought up and the policies were sent back for revision. The board then voted unanimously to bring back the audit firm of Dingus, Zarecore and Associates for the fourth year, to work on this year’s audit. And Director Dianne Markle-Greenhouse was inspired by the rich resources she found at the National Innovative Communities Conference.
