Thursday’s regular meeting of the Morongo Basin Healthcare District Board of Directors will begin in earnest with the board being asked to approve a Memorandum of Understanding, authorizing participation in the district’s risk management authority’s health benefits program. After that will be an update on the district’s strategic plan, followed by a financial report for the first month of the 2019-2020 fiscal year. The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. at the MBHD office at 6530 La Contenta Road, Suite 100, in Yucca Valley.
