At tonight’s meeting of the Morongo Basin Healthcare District, in addition to this month’s finance report, CEO Jackie Combs will present updates to the strategic plan and reports on mobile medical unit and transportation services offered in January, as well new personnel. Also included will be reports on various community outreach efforts, including the Point-in-Time count of the homeless, meetings with Yucca Valley parks and recreation on upcoming collaborative events, a recent meeting with the County Public Health Preparedness and Response program, as well as a meeting with the Morongo Unified School district to review recent school site dental programs, and pediatric services and first-grade physicals offered next year.
The meeting concludes with a closed session on “trade secrets.”
Tonight’s meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at the district’s offices at 6530 La Contenta Road, Suite 100 in Yucca Valley.
