At tonight’s meeting of the Morongo Basin Healthcare District, board members will hear reports on October’s Association of California Healthcare Districts conference. CEO Jackie Combs will highlight updates on the Split Rock facility, recent activities of the Mobile Medical Unit and LIFT programs, an overview of community outreach efforts, as well as recent changes to the billing department. The board will also vote to accept the 2019 financial audit presented last month as well as this month’s finance report. The meeting will conclude with a closed session on “trade secrets.” Tonight’s meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at the district’s offices at 6530 La Contenta Road, Suite 100 in Yucca Valley.
