At last night’s meeting, the Morongo Basin Healthcare District board elected its 2020 officers including Marge Doyle as president, Dianne Greenhouse as vice president, Misty Evans as secretary, and Bob Armstrong as treasurer with Evans and Greenhouse also appointed to the Community Health Center’s governing board. Following the board’s routine approval of November’s finance report, CEO Jackie Combs reported that, even with additional parking lot re-grading and striping required, the Split Rock Clinic is on schedule to open January 20. Also, a new lighted box sign has been installed above the Twentynine Palms clinic providing excellent visibility from the highway. Her report also highlighted the launch of two digital marketing campaigns that will use repetitive advertising over a multiple platforms targeting Twentynine Palms parents to inform them on pediatric services now available at the new Split Rock facility.
