Starting this Thursday, Morongo Basin Healthcare District Board of Directors and the Community Health Center Governing Board have agreed to meet quarterly to facilitate communication and collaboration between the two boards. The night’s agenda reflects it being the first, starting with a discussion on how the shared meeting should be structured followed by approval of its structure by general consensus. Then a presentation by MBHD CEO Jackie Combs on the elements of a co-application agreement. The board will then discuss the appointment of a four-member work group to finalize the co-application agreement. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the MBHD office at 6530 La Contenta Road, Suite 100, in Yucca Valley.
