The main item on the agenda for tonight’s meeting of the Morongo Basin Healthcare District board of directors is a continuation of the discussion for a new chief executive officer to replace Jackie Combs, who plans to retire next July. At last month’s meeting, Combs said she would forward proposals from three recruitment firms, as well as suggestions for an informal search for a new CEO. The board will also hear a finance report. Tonight’s meeting will be held via Zoom starting at 6 p.m.
