The meeting began on a high point with the Morongo Transit Authority presenting checks for the two MBTA transportation grants in which they will purchase a new van that will be part of the LIFT Transportation Service. Next, CPA Tom Dingus presented the MBHD audited financial report. The result was a report that relatively problem free and prior findings from the past four years have finally been resolved. The result was a report that was free of any deficiency. Ron Stewart had a quarterly report for the Community Health Center. There will be new furniture and paint in the clinics in Yucca Valley and in Twentynine Palms.
