HDEAA in Yucca Valley accepting donations for residents impacted by wildfires

The High Desert Emergency Action Alliance in Yucca Valley is accepting donations for San Bernardino County residents who are impacted by evacuation orders and warnings from proximity to the Line Fire and growing Bridge Fire. They will be collecting items in Yucca Valley and bringing them to a centralized distribution center in San Bernardino.

They are specifically putting out the call for the following items:

  • Pillows, towels, socks, shoes/sandals (new / used) & underwear
  • Baby diapers of all sizes, wipes, formula
  • Feminine hygiene items
  • Pet Food
  • Bottled Water, sports drinks
  • Non perishables, food & snack items
  • Books, games, puzzles, and children’s activities
  • Cell phone changes
  • Laundry detergent
  • Animal cages

Since the drop-off site in San Bernardino may be far for many, the HDEAA will collect donations weekly and transport them to the central warehouse.

You can drop off donations at the High Desert Emergency Action Alliance 57353 29 Palms Hwy Suite B, Yucca Valley, CA 92284.

You can also visit the Red Cross page for those impacted by Southern California wildfires.
