In collaboration with the San Bernardino County Fire District, the Town of Yucca Valley is hosting a drive-thru household hazardous waste collection event Saturday, April 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the north parking lot of the Yucca Valley Community Center, located at 57090 Twentynine Palms Hwy. Items being accepted are: batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, electronics, paint, antifreeze, used motor oil, sharps (in approved containers), pesticides and fertilizers, medications, and more.
