An unfortunate truck driver had to “bail” himself out of trouble yesterday when one of his two trailers loaded with bales of hay overturned at the intersection of Highway 62 and Old Woman Springs Road yesterday (September 1). According to Sheriff’s reports, the tow hitch connecting the two trailers broke, causing the back trailer to overturn. Deputies responded to the scene around 2:30 p.m., blocking off the right lane of traffic as hundreds of bails of hay were cleared from the location. Another company truck arrived and collected the hay bales. The scene was cleared within a few hours. There were no reports of injuries.
