The Harrison House of Music, Arts, & Ecology will host a workshop on food foraging from native plants on Sunday, September 28. Members of the Chia Café Collective will lead the workshop, demonstrating uses of native plants as food, medicine, and utilities while considering the ethics and best practices in plant gathering and preparation. Preregistration is required. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at Harrison House, 6881 Mount Lassen Avenue in Joshua Tree. To register for the event, visit www.louharrisonhouse.org/shop.
