An open house this evening at Harrison House in Joshua Tree. Managing editor Tami Roleff says the talents of a brother and sister are featured…
A brother-and-sister duo of artists will be featured at an open house Monday, August 1, sponsored by Harrison House Music, Arts, and Ecology. Dominique Moody is an artist in residence, and she has been working on creating an artistic fence, using materials left over from the construction of the straw bale Harrison House. Moody invited her brother, Dana, to paint a mural on a 1940s trailer parked at the site. The public is invited to the free open house, which is set for 5 to 8 p.m. Harrison House is located at 6881 Mount Lassen Avenue in Joshua Tree. For more information, call 760-366-4712.
