The works of sibling artists are on exhibit at Harrison House. Managing Editor Tami Roleff has the details…A brother-and-sister duo of artists will be featured at an open house and art exhibit, Saturday, September 3, sponsored by Harrison House Music, Arts, and Ecology. Dominique Moody is an artist in residence, and she has been working on creating an artistic fence around a sunken garden, using materials left over from the construction of the straw bale Harrison House. Moody invited her brother, Dana, to paint a mural on a 1940s trailer parked at the site. The public is invited to the free open house, which is set for 5 to 10 p.m., and includes storytelling, dedication of the sunken garden, and a potluck and live music. Harrison House is located at 6881 Mount Lassen Avenue in Joshua Tree. For more information, call 760-366-4712. Reporting for Z107.7, this is managing editor Tami Roleff.
