HARRISON HOUSE HOSTING WORKSHOP ON CREATING DYES FROM NATIVE PLANTS

This immersive outdoor workshop from Harrison House Music Arts & Ecology will explore how to process raw plant matter into natural dyes and introductory techniques for dyeing fabrics. Students will collect local plants; including prickly pear cacti, pomegranate, and sage; from the Harrison House Arts and Ecology Center grounds. Students will leave with their own hand dyed silk scarf or handkerchief made in class. Tickets are $125 per person, lunch included. The class will be held Sunday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit the link below to register.
