HARRISON HOUSE CELEBRATES 10TH ANNIVERSARY

Harrison House’s 10th anniversary celebration begins Saturday, October 1 with Mokoomba leading African music and dance workshops to benefit Harrison House. A music workshop starts at 1; the dance workshop begins at 4. Tickets are $20 for one, $35 for both. On Sunday, October 2, Saba Alizadeh will play traditional Persian compositions on an Iranian bowed string instrument, starting at 5 p.m. Tickets are $15. And to close out the celebration, Gyan Riley will play classical guitar at 7 p.m. with his father Terry Riley, who performed the first concert at Harrison House. Tickets are $15.
