Harmonica and Yoga classes are among the more popular new classes offered in the Town of Yucca Valley’s program of recreational activities. The classes are conducted at the Community Center… Reporter Kristy Lockhart tells you how to sign up. Harmonica lessons are taught by Beverly Burkitt, who has been teaching for 25 years. During this class participants will learn techniques and gain a working knowledge of the harmonica. Classes are on Friday evenings from 4:15 – 5:15. Classes are open to anyone 5 years of age and older. Harmonicas can be purchased from the instructor. Cost is $2 per session. Beginner and intermediate Yoga class are also being offered. Yoga classes are held on Friday evenings from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Cholla room of the Yucca Valley Community Center. The cost is $8 per class.
