A man who was harassing a water company work crew was arrested in Morongo Valley Thursday. According to a Sheriff’s report, about 10 a.m., a work crew was measuring for a pipeline next to the Morongo Café near Park Avenue and the highway, when Brent Beaty, 41, started harassing them, and tried to start a fight with the workers. After the workers got into their work truck and called police, Beaty started running back and forth across the highway. Brent Beaty was arrested for causing a disturbance, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, and released a few hours later.
