Halloween Spooktacular this Saturday at Hi-Desert Nature Museum and YV Community Center

It’s the season for screamin’, as Halloween is right around the corner.

If you’re looking for something that’s scary but not-too scary fun for the whole family, come to the Hi-Desert Nature Museum and the Town of Yucca Valley Recreation Department are holding their Halloween Spooktacular this Saturday (October 26).

Expect to  trick-or-treat in an enchanted castle, explore a haunted petting zoo, come face-to-face with a creepy crawly critter, and enjoy face painting, a photo booth, costume contest, spooky crafts and games. All activities are free to the public, and the fun runs from noon to 4 p.m. at the Yucca Valley Community Center and the Hi-Desert Nature Museum.

Awards for best costumes will be presented to three different age divisions, and organizers ask for no inappropriate or gory costumes at the family friendly event. You can register from noon to 2 p.m. at the Community Center, judging begins at 2:30 pm.

Z107.7’s own Cody Joseph will be at the event, so go and say hello.
