Join the town of Yucca Valley and the Hi-Desert Nature Museum for a day of Halloween-themed games and activities at Spooktacular, Saturday, October 26, noon to 4 p.m. Get spooked in the haunted hotel, do frightful crafts, take scary pictures, pick up terrifying treats, and show off your favorite spine-chilling costume. Awards for the scariest, funniest and most original costume will be offered for children 0 to 12 and best in show for all ages, including 12 and up. Costume contest registration takes place in the courtyard the day of the event from at 1 to 2:45 p.m.
