Halloween is coming a little early to Yucca Valley. The Town is once again holding their Halloween Spooktacular at the Yucca Valley Community Center on Saturday (October 28).
The Yucca Valley Community Center will be transformed into a haunted mansion with trick-or-treating, face painting, a photo booth, costume contest, pumpkin decorating and spooky crafts.
There will be a costume contest in several age divisions, with prizes given for Best in Show, Spookiest, Funniest, and Most Original. Ages 12+ and group entries will compete for a single Best in Show award. This is an all ages, family-friendly event, so no inappropriate or gory costumes please.
The fun begins at noon on Saturday and runs until 4 p.m. The event is totally free and vendors will be on hand selling food and treats.
