Halloween activities are planned for Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree, and Yucca Valley. The City of Twentynine Palms Parks and Rec Department is offering an alternative to door-to-door trick or treating with a fun fest. Children will be able to play games for candy prizes and visit a haunted house. The Halloween Fun Fest is set for Tuesday, October 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Twentynine Palms Community Services Building on Joe Davis Drive. For more information, call 760-367-7562.
The Sportsman’s Club of Joshua Tree will host its second annual trunk-or-treat event on Tuesday, October 31. The event is free and open to all children. Adults who would like to volunteer by decorating their vehicle and handing out candy can call the Sportsman’s Club at 760-367-2519, or email [email protected] to get registered. Setup begins at 5:00 p.m., with trick-or-treating from 6:00 to 8:00.
Evangelical Free Church in Yucca Valley will hold a fall fun fest on Halloween from 5 to 8 p.m. There will be candy and games. The church is located at 6804 Mohawk Trail.
