“GYPSY” AT THEATRE 29, A SMASH HIT WITH AUDIENCES

The hit musical “Gypsy” is playing at Theatre 29 for two more weekends. Tickets are available for Friday and overflow seating for Saturday. Special correspondent Les Taylor says the show is setting records…..
Already deemed a winner Theatre 29’s production of “Gypsy” is now an absolute hit with audiences as well! Since opening night this classic Broadway musical has played to sold-out houses and standing ovations at each performance. The cast of nearly thirty is headed by Analisa Pilecki as Mama Rose, “the ultimate stage mother.” Although a relative newcomer to our area she brings a wealth of experience to the Theatre 29 stage. Pilecki studied musical theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and performed off-Broadway in New York. Her renditions of the many hits from “Gypsy” have wowed audiences at every performance. “Gypsy” continues through April 6th with shows at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. The final matinee is Sunday march 24th at 2:30. “Gypsy” contains some mature themes and isn’t recommended for children under 12. Tickets range from $8 to $12 and reservations, which are highly advised, can be made by calling the box office at 760-361-4151 or on-line at Theatre29.org. The theater is on Sullivan Road just west of Adobe in Twentynine Palms.
