Four new children’s gymnastics classes will be offered at the Yucca Valley Community Center beginning Monday, October 19. Kinder gym is open to children ages 3 to 5, and teaches the beginning fundamentals of gymnastics at 3:30. Beginning gymnastics is for children 6 years and up who will learn the basics of floor gymnastics at 4 p.m. Intermediate classes are open to children 10 years and up and builds on beginning techniques at 5 p.m. Beginning rhythmic gymnastics offers training in gymnastics, ballet, fitness, and flexibility, and is for children 6 and up, and starts at 6 p.m. All gymnastics classes are held Mondays at the Yucca Valley Community Center.
