Gunfighters for Hire, an Old West re-enactment group that puts on Wild West skits, opened its 2018-19 season on Mane Street in Pioneertown Saturday, October 6. The Gunfighters’ program includes real firearms, authentic clothing, and great actors to entertain the whole family. Funds raised through donations at the shows go to help needy organizations. On Saturday, the Gunfighters presented a check for $500 to The Happy Trails Children’s Foundation in Apple Valley. Gunfighters for Hire recently became a 501c3 non-profit organization, and welcomes donations of any size.
