GRUBSTAKE DAYS LOOKING FOR CHILDREN’S ACTIVITY BOOTHS

The Grubstake Days Community Fair committee is looking for booths featuring activities for children for this year’s 63rd annual Grubstake Days Celebration in Yucca Valley. The traditional annual celebration of the rich mining and pioneering history of the region will be a one-day event set for Saturday, May 25. All of the events will take place on Little League Drive in Yucca Valley from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Grubstake Days will feature horseshoe and table tennis competitions, a beard contest, dunk tank, snack walk, watermelon eating, sack races, a softball tournament, delicious BBQ sandwiches, pizza, and other food specialties, law enforcement displays, a live Z107.7 radio broadcast, continuous free community entertainment with a major headliner, and much more! Vendors, non-profit organizations, and artisans are urged to register for booth booths which offer crafts and activities for children.
