Multi Award-Winning Director Abe Daniels has cast five one act plays for the Groves production of “A Night of One Acts.” The night’s theme deals with communication between couples. The plays are “Two Cats, No Dogs,” with Kevin Hayles and Rebecca Havely; “A Bowl of Soup,” with Marty Neider and Abe Daniels; “Cornered,” with Phillip Daniels and Liyan Lagevardi; “Camera Obscura,” with Shelly Sheckler and Kurt Schauppner; and “Naked,” with Marcella Bueno and Cyrus Short. The playwright of “Naked,” Morley Shulman, and his wife will be traveling from Canada to see a Groves performance. Performances are all the weekends in April; Saturday evenings at 7 and Sundays matinees at 2:30. This intimate venue sells out quickly so make reservations now by calling 760-365-4523.
