The Groves Cabin Theater is taking reservations for their next theatrical offering, a drama by Tennessee Williams. Reporter Rebecca Havely has the details…
“Suddenly Last Summer” is considered one of Tennessee Williams’ starkest and most poetic works. It’s opening at the Groves Cabin Theater at 8758 Desert Willow Trail in Morongo Valley. Multiple Desert Theatre League Award winner Abe Daniels directs and has chosen his cast. They are: Donette Swain, Scott Cutler, Analisa Pilecki, Vicki Montgomery, Joy Groves, Lauren Gentry and Cyrus Short, with set design by Steve Pratt. Performances begin Saturday, February, 14, through March 15, with Saturday evening curtains at 7 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m. The intimate 20-seat venue sells out quickly, so reserve now at 760-365-4523.
