The Groves Cabin Theatre opens its 2018 season with the drama “Annapurna.” With all the details, here’s Rebecca Havely…
“Annapurna” is a full-length one-act drama by Sharr White. Directed by Eddie Tucker, the play stars a duo of award-winning actors. Wendy Cohen plays Emma, who tracks down her ex-husband, played by Kurt Schaupner. He portrays the once-famous “cowboy poet” Ulysses, who is now alone, impoverished and terminally ill. This is a breathtaking story about the longevity and power of love, with cutting doses of humor thrown in. The play runs Saturday evenings at 7:00 and Sunday afternoons at 2:30 from February 17 to March 11. Early reservations are highly recommended as this intimate venue sells out quickly.
