The Copper Mountain College Foundation announced that its 2020 Greenleaf Scholarship recipient is Dejejuanice (Deje) Brewer of Twentynine Palms High School. The four other finalists are Anwyn Hilderbrand and Anthony Rodriguez Rojas from Yucca Valley High School, and Diego Hernandez and Teagan Thompson from Twentynine Palms High School. The Greenleaf Scholarship pays tuition fees, books, and living expenses while the student attends Copper Mountain College, and their expenses when they go on to complete their bachelor’s degree at any 4-year California or Cal State University.
