The Morongo Basin Unity Home Thrift Store is moving to Yucca Valley. The thrift store will hold a grand opening, ribbon-cutting and open house Saturday, October 3, starting at 9 a.m. Its new location is 56300 Suite B on Highway 62, next to Elite Cosmetology School. There will be refreshments, a treasure hunt, and balloons, along with raffle tickets for every purchase. Proceeds from the Unity Home Thrift Store support its programs to help victims of domestic violence. And don’t forget that October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
