The Seventh Day Adventist Church will hold a free gospel concert Saturday at 6 p.m. In addition to local talent, Pastor Curtis Wright—a world-class banjo player and fourth-generation musician—will be featured. Besides the banjo, Wright plays the violin, mandolin, harmonica, guitar and the Indian flute, and has played with Buck Page and the Riders of the Purple Sage, the Frank Wakefield Band, and Jimmy Collier. The church is located at 8035 Church Street in Yucca Valley.
