The annual Yucca Valley High School Career Pathways Foundation Golf Tournament tees off on Friday, April 7 at Hawks Landing Golf Club. The tournament provides funds for the Yucca Valley High School Career Pathways Program. The program enables students to job shadow and participate in internships. Those who complete an internship will receive up to $1,000 in educational assistance. Over the last two decades, Career Pathways Foundation has awarded more than $120,000 in scholarships to deserving Yucca Valley High School students. The tournament is a four-person team scramble and gets underway at 8 a.m. Registration includes green fees, golf cart, awards presentation, continental breakfast, plus prizes, fun events and the satisfaction that when you T-off, you’re supporting local youth.
